Intel Power Electric Ltd. is an electrical contracting company and does not offer professional engineering services directly unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where a project requires professional engineering, including engineering design, load calculations, EV Ready planning, or other engineering related deliverables, those services are provided by or through an independent third party professional engineer or engineering firm that is properly licensed and authorized to practise in British Columbia.

Intel Power Electric Ltd. coordinates installation and contractor services, while professional engineering work and related documents are prepared and issued by the applicable authorized third party engineering provider.

Engineering Notice: Intel Power Electric Ltd. is an electrical contractor. Any professional engineering services required for a project are provided by an independent third party engineer or permitted engineering firm authorized to practise in British Columbia.

What Intel Power Electric Ltd. Does

Intel Power Electric Ltd. provides electrical contracting, installation, project coordination, and related support services. Depending on the scope of work, this may include site review, contractor coordination, installation planning, electrical execution, and communication with project stakeholders.

For EV charging and EV Ready projects, our role may include helping clients move their projects forward through planning support, site coordination, installation scheduling, and contractor services.

How Engineering Work Is Handled

When a project requires professional engineering services, those services are not presented as services directly provided by Intel Power Electric Ltd. In such cases, engineering work is carried out by an independent authorized third party engineering provider in British Columbia.

This may include items such as:

• Engineering design
• Load calculations
• EV Ready planning
• Capacity assessments
• Engineering review and documentation
• Professionally prepared reports, drawings, or other engineering deliverables

Where required, the applicable engineering provider prepares and issues the relevant engineering documents.

Clarity of Public Wording

Intel Power Electric Ltd. is revising and maintaining its public website language to avoid any implication that it directly practises professional engineering where such services are instead provided by an independent authorized third party.

References to project coordination, EV planning support, installation services, and contractor services should be understood within that context.
